League Management Policy
CURDS asks all
participants to read and follow local and state guidelines regarding COVID-19. This policy is subject to change based on
modification of those guidelines, or guidance from City of La Crosse, Department
of Parks and Recreation. First and foremost, if you
don't feel well, or know you've been exposed to COVID-19, stay home!
Contact tracking and tracing:
By registering for a CURDS league, you agree to inform CURDS if you have
attended league and subsequently test positive for COVID-19 within the contact
tracing window established by your local health department. Only registered participants may
be on the fields designated for league play. All players must
provide current and accurate contact information (email and phone number) for
the purpose of contact tracing.
Sanitation: Players are also encouraged to provide their own sanitizer. Players please wash or sanitize hands before game play, and after bathroom breaks or eating.
Distancing: CURDS strives
for a welcoming and encouraging environment, but please maintain awareness of
personal space and body contact when playing and socializing. No high-fives; maintain 6-foot distance from other players on
sidelines or during social time. Additional distancing requirements or modified game rules may be
established by League Commissioner(s) for specific game play.
Indoor League Specific COVID-19 Policy:
Face covering: All players must wear a face covering while in the Logan Fieldhouse Gym for the purpose of CURDS Winter League. See below for exception.
Vaccination:
Spectators: No spectators allowed at indoor league.
CURDS reserves the right to remove any player from play or eject from the league if these policies are not observed.
Player Safety Policy
Player safety is of utmost importance. With a wide variety of skill levels, potentially dangerous situations (such as hanging discs) become more common. It is incumbent upon experienced and athletic players to avoid unnecessary and dangerous contact. CURDS reserves the right to suspend from a game or eject from the league players who commit egregious or repeated instances of dangerous or unspirited play.
Dog Policy
Well-behaved dogs are welcome at CURDS outdoor events. However, dogs don't always play nicely with each other, children, or flying discs. CURDS reserves the right to remove any dog or other animal from the premises.
Alcohol Policy
Persons ages 21+ are welcome enjoy adult beverages at the outdoor fields. Do not provide alcohol to minors. Do not become excessively drunk. CURDS reserves the right to remove disorderly drunks from the premises.
Media Policy
CURDS often takes photos and video of league and tournament events, some of which will be used for social media, advertising, etc. By participating in a CURDS event, you agree to allow CURDS to use your image for the aforementioned purposes. CURDS will not sell your image. If you would like to be exempt from this, please email couleeultimate@gmail.com.
Lightning Policy
"If you hear it, clear it; if you see it, flee it." If there is a lightning strike within 10 miles of the fields (determined by weather app), lightning is seen, or thunder is heard, players must clear the fields and go to cars or a building for 30 minutes.
