Opportunities for Youth Ultimate

CURDS is excited to announce two great opportunities for youth ultimate players, or potential youth ultimate players, this summer!  If you know any middle or high school students who might be interested in ultimate, send them this information now!

GUM Clinic: June 4 (Saturday), 1-4 pm

USA Ultimate, UW-L Galaxy Women's Ultimate, and CURDS are partnering to bring a Girls' Ultimate Movement Clinic to La Crosse in June.  Girls age 11-18 are invited to a three-hour clinic where Galaxy women will lead them in learning the fundamentals of ultimate and spirit of the game.

The Girls’ Ultimate Movement focuses on creating opportunities for youth and high school aged girls to participate in sports, lead with their peers, and celebrate the beauty of sport with their opponents.

CURDS Summer Youth Ultimate:

June 7-August 11
Tuesday/Thursday

Middle School 4-6 pm

Middle school youth will have fun learning the fundamental skills and strategies of organized ultimate frisbee.

High School 5-7 pm
All experience levels. We will mix up fundamentals (throwing, rules of the game) with a lot of playing! Part of the program will overlap with adult summer league (a recreational, all-abilities league)
