Girls' Ultimate Clinic

Madison's ultimate community is partnering with the Girls' Ultimate Movement (GUM) to bring a girls clinic to our area. If you have a daughter/niece/small female person who might be interested in trying out some ultimate, or getting more involved in ultimate, make it a day trip to Madison!

This three-hour instructional clinic, open to girls ages 8+ of all experience levels, will be hosted by players from Madison's elite women's club team (Heist) in partnership with USA Ultimate and the Madison Ultimate Frisbee Association (MUFA).

The primary objectives of this learn-to-play event are to introduce girls to the fundamentals of the game (throwing, catching, offensive and defensive movement, scoring, and most importantly, Spirit of the Game), and to connect them with opportunities to keep playingthrough various teams, schools and clubs in the community.

We emphasize creating a fun, positive atmosphere with plenty of opportunity for free play, various disc games, relays, team activities, and socialization.
