Today is the first day of spring, and I would like to say it is the first day of the Ultimate season here in the coulee region, but we are not having last year's weather. Instead, I will tell you about the first tournament opportunity of the year.
Camp I-Wanna-Huck-It is a hat tournament at a summer camp complete with cabins, camp fires, and counselors with the added benefit of adult beverages, disc games, and more. The cost includes most meals, adult beverages, jerseys, lodging, and two days of Ultimate and other disc games like cups, goaltimate, disc archery, disc golf, and more. Sam and I went last year and had a great time. We're already signed up for this year. This tournament is a great way to start off the season playing fun Ultimate and meeting awesome new people.
When: May 10-12
Where: Manteno, IL (60 mi south of Chicago)
Who: Co-ed players of any level over the age of 18
How much: $150 early registration
