Bonobo Handshake (a.k.a CURDS, and briefly listed on the tournament webpage as Bonobo Snuffbox) made a stellar showing at Mad Disc On this weekend in Madison, WI. While there was no picture-taking to record how sexy our team looked or how amazing our play was, you can rest assured that we won at having fun and playing hard while doing it.
Our record for the weekend was 2-4, but two of our losses were by only two points. Everyone played enthusiastically through the long, hard-fought points, and never was there a time when we got down on our teammates.
Thanks to everyone, especially the Madison ladies, who came out and made the weekend possible. Congratulations to all our prize winners: Youngest Player, Oldest Player, Band Member, First Tournament, and Best Sunburn. I'm pretty sure we won the party.
Hallowinona (end of October) will most likely be our next tournament. Start thinking of costumes!
