Thanks to Lars and Pappi, who rounded up a bunch of UW-L students, we had about 30 people show up for pick-up both yesterday and today! That was enough for two fields of Ultimate (7 on 7, 6 on 6) plus subs, and it was great.
I know many of the students will be busy with school as classes start, but I hope those who have some free time on Sundays and Wednesdays will keep coming out. We old community players promise to try to keep up with the students' youthful energy.
That was awesome. I think it's usually a consolation that age is relative, but I think I just got older. Hopefully the UWL practice schedule will partly consist of these weekly pickup games.
