Community-organized pick-up games occur late spring to early fall on most Sunday afternoons in La Crosse and/or Winona.
La Crosse:
Weigent Park (Cass and 16th Street)
Veterans Freedom Park (Clinton St.)
Green Island Park (behind Gundersen Lutheran Hospital)
Winona:
Band Shell Park
Other places
Announcements can be found most reliably on the CURDS facebook page and the Winona Ultimate facebook page, and are sometimes posted on the CURDS website as well.
Pick-up is free and open to anyone of any age and skill level. If you're not familiar with the game, just ask and someone will be happy to help you learn as much or as little as you'd like.
Please bring a white shirt and a dark (non-gray) shirt in order to make dividing teams easier. Non-metal cleats such as soccer cleats are recommended to prevent you from slipping around, but tennis shoes may also be worn.
Water stations at the parks are usually inconvenient, so bring a water bottle as well.
